Pushing Email and Apple

I have spent a whole night trying to connect my iPhone with Google pushing email services (Google Sync) but unfortunately, this support is really s***ed. It seemed that the relationship between Apple and Google doesn't improve at all. I tested this services on my Hero and it worked sweetly. One of the most reliable pushing services for iPhone is MobileMe, in addition of 148.00 SGD charges annually, omg. With this budget, I can sign up for Google Apps for 2 persons in one domain. My first attempt to marry GMail pushing services with iPhone failed. I really want to find other way round.
